a newer version which fixes multiple serious security issues incl. remote root compomise (possible) was released 4 days ago yet the cpanel module still hasn't been updated.

Why doesn't cpanel have someone keep up to speed with all the software they package with their software ? This sort of attitude towards security is shameful.

And before someone tells me to submit a bugzilla entry ..why bother? I have bugs in there from 2 years ago that haven't even so much as been looked at.

Manual instalation are not solution.

Same history.

A lot of bus on bugzilla for more 1 year and any solution.

clamav it's a prt of WHM/Cpanael service, and this service must updated by Cpanel system, not for work of customers of WHM/Cpanel
