ClamAV Plugin Out of Date - Does cpanel update this, or do I have to? [Case 51032]

Question :

if I follow pmc's procedure ans update clamav manually as per his instructions, (and it works), will doing that wreck/prevent a future Cpanel update ?

Yes, that's already happened. ClamAV 0.97.8 is scheduled for inclusion in the near future per case 66385.
