Does anyone have a good chkconfig script for clamd?
The ones I found on the net do not seem to be reliable for one reason or another.
It would be nice to have clamd (clamscan/clamav) be started by chkconfig.

    thanks.

Clamd should already be started when exim starts up at server boot up. If it doesn't, perhaps try installing the cpanel issued clam installer ?

I just checked the archive of the cpanel (unsupported) issued clam installer. It does not seem to add anything to chkconfig at all so I am not sure how this solves my question?

As long as exim is listed in your ntsysv you should be fine. As I said, clam is normally started with exim.. for example, from ssh, issue service exim restart and see what pops up. ( you should see clam )
