Clearing partition /usr safely (what can be cleaned out)

Having an issue with /usr

What items can safely be cleaned out or trimmed in tis partition without affecting the system. I assume there is a lot of fat in there.

PS we have also seen a cpanel bug that makes /usr appear full even though its not and a service cpanel reset always fixed that. Anyone else seen this bug?
