    I have a client who is trying to access her cpanel from her work. She is on a company network, she can access sites on the server but just not cpanel, she gets this from her browser:
    =======================================
    While trying to retrieve the URL: http://xx.xx.x.xxx:2082/

    The following error was encountered:

    We can not connect to the server you have requested.

    This means that:

    The server might be busy at this time.
    The server is not reachable.

    Please try later to see if you can go through.
    ========================================
    Anyone ever seen this problem?

    Thanks

    Chances are they have blocked port 2082 at her work..this is actually very common. I would suggest telling her to try logging in through your SSL (if you have one) as I know that is based upon a different port (like 2083 I believe). Tell her to try that..if that does not work then she could possilbly try talking with her systems people to see why that port is blocked. Good luck.

    install cpanel Proxy so they can connect via port 80 does not support SSL though
