Hi there,
I'm new to Cpanel and have been having trouble upgrading my standard CPanel installation to CloudLinux.
My problem is that when i did the upgrade on my server, i had the two-factor authentication activated for my root account.. The upgrade itself went very smoothly without any problems.
When i first came to log in after the update i was asked for my two-factor authentication code that is generated by google authenticator and BOOM the code was incorrect.
I have tried to restard the server multiple times and still nothing, everytime i try and enter the code it is always invalid. I have CSF activated on the server and until the update i had no problems at all.. I have contacted CloudLinux directly and they seem to say that there is no way that the update could have affected the 2FA.
Has anyone else had this type of problem ? Is there a way to disable the 2FA from shell seeing that i cannot login to WHM succesfully ?
Thank you all in advance,
Peter
