Is there any news on when the cluster feature is actually going to be available?

And just so I'm clear, this feature will allow us to go into a single whm and see all the accounts on all the servers we have, right?

There still is no /var/cpanel/keys nor /var/cpanel/incomingkeys directories. The clustermgr is not started automatically.

The clustering function is to allow the management of multiple whostmgr's from one browser session.

We got our first cpanel server about 6 months ago and were told then that the cluster feature would be available in a couple of weeks when cPanel 6 was released.

    We're still waiting.

Nick, can you at least give a time frame on when this is going to be available?

The same here. Because this option in now quite some while in our WHM, we may suppose it becomes available any time soon.

Nick, again, please give us a timeframe ....

There seems to be quite a lot of posts here about the cluster feature but no idea as to when the feature will be launched. As it has been a while since the last post on this topic I wondered if anybody had any insights?

It would be nice to have a couple of words from Cpanel with maybe an estimated (realistic) ETA for this feature.

My big question on this is...

"Will an additional license be required for each server in the cluster ?"

Any news of the clustering feature? We've just tried to cluster our two Cpanel servers but it doesn't seem to "work" or do anything at all..

Still no news on this feature?

Surely it's more important then an image resizer and ticketing system????

While Cpanel is a very fair product regardless of these minor issues and clustering is a potential security hole.... would rather wait forever than get a complete cluster hacked...

I am sure that would put any hosting company out of business : )

    Hi,

CPanel have only made DNS clustering, they've yet to even touch on the type of clustering that can be seen on H-Sphere.

DirectAdmin is a baby compared to CPanel, although at it's current rate I think it might overtake CPanel whilst remaining virtually bug free.
