    Hi,

I would say my WHM knowledge is suffucuent enough to run one server, but I've just purchased another server with a different hosting company and want to know what my options are:

Do I use the clustering feature in WHM to keep the DNS records synced? (does this work ok?).

Does the clustering feature split load between the servers?

Are all the accounts replicated on the other server so I have some form of redundancy should the primary go down?

    Cheers
    Matt

AFAIK, the clustering feature in Cpanel/WHM is not yet functional.

    Re: Re: Clustering?!?!?

Any tips on how to get around this?

How about this for an idea?

Copy over the sites every night, then set ns2 as the slave server, then configure the DNS records on the slave to point to itself. That way if ns1 went down traffic would be routed to ns2, and just email would be unavailable?
