Hi ,

This is my setup.

domain1.com is set as an alias under domain2.com.

demo.domain1.com is created as a separate cpanel account in the same server where the above domains exists.

Now I have created the below CNAMES in the DNS zone of domain1.com

first.domain1.com CNAME demo.domain1.com

Second.domain1.com CNAME demo.domain1.com

Third.domain1.com CNAME demo.domain1.com

fourth.domain1.com CNAME demo.domain1.com

But when i visit first.domain1.com it just takes me to the cPanel default page. This happens for all the four domains listed above. Is this happening because of the lack of vhost due to the alias/parked domain "domain1.com" ? Do I have to remove the alias and set it as addon domain ?

Hi @jonam_mafia

I am able to replicate that behavior but I believe it's due to the fact that the domain1.com is on another account. What I think might be the best course of action is to add the second, third and fourth subdomains as aliases to demo.domain1.com. This configuration is far less complicated and I can confirm it works.

Thanks!
