Hi, One of my domain (xyz.com) is running somewhere else(not on cpanel). Now I have created a CNAME record for a subdomain (sub.xyz.com) and pointed it to on another subdomain (sub1.abc.com) (abc.com is running with cpanel). The records looks like as follow.

sub.xyz.com. CNAME sub1.abc.com.

But now problem is this. When I open sub.xyz.com then it is showing default cgi page ( cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi page) instead of showing contents of sub1.abc.com.

Please help me what I need to do for subdomain (sub.xyz.com) to open sub1.abc.com. (With name showing sub.xyz.com in address bar).

Hello :)

Please verify that "sub1.abc.com" exists as a subdomain and is accessible on it's own. If so, then complete a DNS record lookup to ensure the CNAME entry you created on the remote server is active. It may also be helpful if you submit a ticket so you can provide us with the actual domain names used:
