My Cname entries won't resolve at all.
Not www. not mail and not ftp none of them show up when I check.

THis is what I got in WHM under the edit dns records

    mail 14400 IN CNAME crdserver.net.
    www 14400 IN CNAME crdserver.net.
    ftp 14400 IN CNAME crdserver.net.

When I query the records with the domain name it just tells me that I have no CNAME records.

All the other records show up except for the CNAME records.

I used a dns tool to lookup /query my records to see how my records are seen from outside my server.

    This is what I used.
    http://www.hscripts.com/tools/HDNT/dns-record.php

What can I do about this. How can I fix this. All the sites seem to load a bit slower also , can it be from this as well.

    Can anyone help me out?

Can you post your whole DNS record? Something more is going on. Your server is not reporting any NS records for that domain. You should have two lines near the top that reflect your nameservers set up at your domain registrar, like this:
    Code:
    crdserver.net. 14400 IN NS ns1.crdserver.net.
    crdserver.net. 14400 IN NS ns2.crdserver.net.

The problem is that WHM is not generating a dns record for the master domain like crdserver.net, but it's generating two other dns zones.

I have two dns zones generated ns1.crdserver.net and server.crdserver.net the autoritive server name.

    ns1.crdserver.net.

    ; cPanel 11.24.4-STABLE_33345
    ; Zone file for ns1.crdserver.net
    $TTL 14400
    @ 86400 IN SOA ns1.crdserver.net. root.server.crdserver.net. (
    2009021201 ; serial, todays date+todays
    86400 ; refresh, seconds
    7200 ; retry, seconds
    3600000 ; expire, seconds
    86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

    ns1.crdserver.net. 86400 IN NS ns1.crdserver.net.

    ns1.crdserver.net. IN A 77.36.57.11

    localhost.ns1.crdserver.net. IN A 127.0.0.1

    ns1.crdserver.net. IN MX 0 ns1.crdserver.net.

    mail IN CNAME ns1.crdserver.net.
    www IN CNAME ns1.crdserver.net.
    ftp IN CNAME ns1.crdserver.net.

    the server.crdserver.net zone.

    ; cPanel 11.24.4-STABLE_33345
    ; Zone file for server.crdserver.net
    $TTL 14400
    @ 86400 IN SOA ns1.crdserver.net. root.server.crdserver.net. (
    2009021201 ; serial, todays date+todays
    86400 ; refresh, seconds
    7200 ; retry, seconds
    3600000 ; expire, seconds
    86400 ) ; minimum, seconds

    server.crdserver.net. 86400 IN NS ns1.crdserver.net.

    server.crdserver.net. IN A 77.36.57.11

    localhost.server.crdserver.net. IN A 127.0.0.1

    server.crdserver.net. IN MX 0 server.crdserver.net.

    mail IN CNAME server.crdserver.net.
    www IN CNAME server.crdserver.net.
    ftp IN CNAME server.crdserver.net.

There is no dns zone named crdserver.net.

I know there should be a zone for the master domain name so I added it manualy , added all the entries but it caused alot of errors so I had to remove the zone. Can you please guide me from the begining. I know what each zone is for but it seems something is not going as planed and I'm doing something wrong.

I got the same problem with the cname still won't work.

Can you please help me out.
