    Here is what we need to do.

    We're setting up a main portal and several children sites.

    Main portal will have several services as blog, forum, directory... just like

    Blog.mastersite.com
    Forum.mastersite.com
    Directory.mastersite.com

    Let's take the Blog section.
    We plan to create different categories and different layouts for each category.
    Then we'll create subdomains "blog" in all our children sites.

    What we want is to create cnames to point:

    blog.childsitea.com ---> Blog.mastersite.com/category/a
    blog.childsiteb.com ---> Blog.mastersite.com/category/b
    blog.childsitec.com ---> Blog.mastersite.com/category/c

    And so on...

    We aim to have subdomains with the url blog.childsitea.com, blog.childsiteb.com... Showing the content of the pointing category BUT ALWAYS with blog.childsitea.com, blog.childsiteb.com url address in the bar.

    Is it possible???

    If not, are there other ways (maybe httaccess) do to this similar to a CNAME?

    Thanks!!!
    Andrea
