You will need to purchase Coldfusion Standard or Enterprise edition and receive a license. (or you can install the trial and apply the license afterwards).

You can than download the .sh file and you will want to configure it with Apache, as well as make sure that apache has the loaders listed and coldfusion extensions such as .cfm.

Once coldfusion is configured with Apache, you should be able to run the pages.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, CF can be a mem hog.

It is working well for us though on Plesk7. I have not tried it on any of our Cpanel servers, since cpanel tends to eat up allot of resources on its own.

Coldfusion is a commercial server. You can purchase at Macromedia.

    $1299 for Standard version
    $5999 for Enterprise version

You can download a 30 day trial, but after that they make you buy it. There are some sources doing a search, where you may be able to purchase it for a little less (make sure it is the full version and not the academic version.), around $1000, but it is not free.

    Hope this helps.
