CommuniGate breaking stunnel

I had my server rebooted last night. When it came back up the stunnel wasn't working. After troubleshooting it I found that CommuniGate was started and it was taking up the imap ports that cpanel would use. I stoped CommuniGate and restarted cpanel. Stunnel works great now. The question is what is CommuniGate and should it be running?

I would not personally try to run Communigate on a cPanel server.

Since that application has nothing to do with cPanel you should probably turn to their developers for help.

If you haven't installed it, then presumably your server provider did for some obscure reason and you should have them remove it.
