Hey, I had a question before I placed the order for my new server.

Do you guys know if Fedora 8 or 9 is supported by Cpanel? I know I've installed an OS that wasn't listen on cpanel's website, and it worked. But idk with these.

    Thanks.

    Go on, have a guess
Fedora is a poor choice for a production server as each version only lasts 6 months before you'll need to upgrade it. After a year you'll receive not further rpm updates from the OS vendor. It would be more sensible to use RHEL or CentOS which have support cycles in years, not months.

The support OS list for cPanel is here:

It appears that cPanel no longer recommend Fedora at all.
