Today I acquired my educational license of cpanel, and already am quite a bit set back from where I was earlier today (before I installed..)

I really dont know what I should set my nameserver as. I asked our ISP (they are not that intelligent) and he couldn't help me.

Before I installed cPanel I had a httpd.conf that worked fine with some virtual hosts for my domain -- and that was it.. all was happy

Now my domain has a SSL page, and I don't know what to do to fix it.. Even my xmail server doesn't work..

Need this to work, for work.. Someone please help an idiot out.

How many IPs do you have?
Do you have these IPs added to WHM?
Do you have 2 your not using?

If so, go to Settings/Setup (depending on skin) and enter:
dns1.domain (replacing domain with yourdomain). Then click Assign IP. Click create A record.
Do this for your secondry nameserver as well but dns2 instead.

There you have 2 ips assigned to to dns1 and dns2.domain and also your A records setup.

You can now setup accounts and use packages and so on.

If you need anymore help just ask or private message me and i'll help you on one to one. :)
