I'm trying to make whm-server-status available to an IP in addition to localhost, and having some real problems doing so.
I tried editing /var/cpanel/templates/apache2/main.default to add Allow from ip.ad.dr.ess in the whm-server-status alias, running the distiller, rebuilding, and the new line never makes it to the new httpd.conf. Not only that, the line disappears from main.default.
I vaguely remember a "pre-vhost" template the last time I dealt with something like this, but the conf distiller documentation has nothing about this now.
Has anyone been able to get this to work on current systems? The machine I'm trying this on runs 11.36.0.
