Today I had a customer tell us that he had contacted us a week ago but never received a response. He had pressed the "Support Request" button in cPanel.

We have all servers configures to take the customer directly to the support website.

What happens is that instead of going directly to the website, an email form pops up requesting the name, nature of the problem etc. and when you press submit, it then goes to the support website, making it appear that a message was sent when in fact it was not.

This is very confusing for users and should be addressed.

Hi,

This feature was not designed to redirect to another URL, it's only purpose is to change the URL where the form is submitted.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Can you be more specific as to which of the 3 options in WHM you have selected?

__ Display Contact Information

__ Submit Request to Email or URL
( ) URL __________________________
( ) Email _________________________
( ) Pipe to a program _______________

__ Disable

This is terrible, we had the same issue, we had there a url that send them to our support system and now it was changed?

So we cannot redirect to a url anymore?
