Configuring Mail Client Handler

    Novice user ...

    I have been sending/receiving email via Windows LiveMail without problem. But then I am suddenly no longer able to receive, but can still send.

    When I do a test send using LiveMail to my email address I get Error Message: Remote host said: 550-"JunkMail rejected.

    However, I am able to both send and receive if I use Webmail/Hoarde, which makes me think I have not configured LiveMail correctly.

    *** I send/receive email using mobile phone network and POP3, so my SMTP is [removed]***

    Hello :)

    Could you provide a specific example of what's not working properly? For instance, you send an email from your email client to a remote address and it fails, or you send an email from a remote address and it fails to deliver to your email address?

    I send email from my email client to a remote address ... and it works.
    I send email from CPanel/Webmail/Hoarde ... and it works.

    I send an email from a remote address and it fails to deliver into my email client handler.
    I send an email from a remote address and it delivers successfully into CPanel/Webmail/Hoarde.


    I might not have configured LiveMail correctly, but it was working okay and I haven't touched the settings. If email to me was being blocklisted well then surely it would not deliver to me whether I was using CPanel/Webmail/Hoarde or a client handler.

    Apologies - perhaps not strictly a CPanel issue.

    This seems like an issue with your email client if you can receive the message via Webmail and other email clients such as Thunderbird. You may need to check with the support team for LiveMail for assistance, or check your configuration settings to ensure they are accurate.
