Hi. When we partition the server this is what i have done. I have configured 680GIGs for the / partitions (home). 30gigs for the back up partition and 2 gigs for the swap partition.

Do i did i need to partition a /tmp or is that automatically seen as done in Cpanel. I take it anything in the tmp would be deducted in the / partition.

    Thanks,

According to documentation, the server should be partitioned as follows:

    • /boot 35 Megabytes (MB)
    • /usr 8192+ MB (8192MB if you have an 80GB drive, 10240MB for a 100GB drive, 20480MB for a 200GB drive, etc.)
    • /var 2500+ MB
    • /tmp 512+ MB
    • / 2048 MB
    • /home grow to fill disk
    • swap 2x memory size
