We currently have several VPS in different Australian states and Singapore, they are all cPanel on Centos 6.x. We are going to lease new repla=cemnt VPS runing cPanel Centos 7.x but are getting conflicting messages from potential suppliers.

Can I get a yes/no answer to my question. Can I use the transfer tool in the new cPanel/Centos7 to transfer accounts from the existing old VPS?

Your response will be very much appreciated.

Hello,

Yes, that is exactly what the transfer system is for. You may get a warning about roundcube using different storage methods, but we've never seen an issue.

Good luck

I moved from a v6 server to a v7 server about a year ago.
The transfer tool worked as expected, taking no more than about 10-20 minutes per account.

You may need to open up firewalls so that the two servers can talk.

As others have stated in response, definitely and this is exactly what the system is for. Let us know if you run into any issues.
