    Hello,

    I've notices today that my first coanel server have his named zone files under /etc.
    From my named.conf (srv1):
    PHP:
    zone "bbbtest.com" {

    type master;

    file "/etc/bbbtest.com.db";
    };

    zone "aaaatest.com" {

    type master;

    file "/etc/aaaatest.com.db";
    };

    on the other servers looks my named.conf like this
    PHP:
    zone "bbbtest.com" {

    type master;

    file "/var/named/bbbtest.com.db";
    };

    zone "aaaatest.com" {

    type master;

    file "/var/named/aaaatest.com.db";
    };
    Whats wrong?

    Another question, why have all my cpanel boxes named files on its drives?
    On all hosts nameserver is disabled (/etc/nameddisable exisits on all boxes).

    I think we don't need named files on local servers.

    thanks for any tip
