    Hello cPanel friends

I had a shared hosting with Hostgator during 8 years. I used cPanel and I loved it. Since 2 days i have my own VPS because i need more control of my websites.

I ordered a license for my server, I Installed WHM and create a cPanel account. After that I create a new domain and a new db.

I thought it would be easy, but I am having several (litle) problems.

I need to connect to mySQL from the externals oftware mySQL front but I cant.
With Hostgator shared hosting was very easy, i write the IP of the server as host, the 3306 port and the cPanel login data, and connect without problems (previously I gave permisions to % in cPanel of course).
With my actual VPS doesnt work in spite of I gave permisions to ALL in the WHM mySQL Services ...

    Could you help me please?
    Thank you!

Ok. The support of cPanel solved my problem:
    Thank you !

Your server is currently only configured to listen for mysql on locahost (127.0.0.1)
I have adjusted this to listen on 0.0.0.0 (all ipv4) and it should now be listening properly
