Connect vis SSH to another server

I am moving accounts from old WHM server to new WHM server using Home »Transfers »Copy an Account From Another Server.

But I click Check SSH Connection:, an error saying "Connecting to Remote Server Failed: Unable to connect to old.server.com:PORT: Connection timed out"

I made sure that hostname and Port number are correct.

How can I check that my new server can connect to the old one using SSH?
Is there a settings on the old server that I need to edit?

I was able to complete the transfer now.

I am not sure what fixed it but here's what I did:

1. On sshd_config, set UsePAM to NO
2. Added SSH ports on CSF

It's likely your firewall on the source server was blocking the SSH connection request from the destination server.
