    Hi

I'm trying to connect to a wordpress db, I've checked the db name username and password, and they seem correct, ive got the host as localhost, but when I attempt to connect the wordpress error says to check db username credentials.

However in cpanel I can't see anywhere where to check credentials, I select the db username in account maintenance and all I can see is change password.

    Thanks

In cPanel > Databases section, MySQL Databases, is where you create the database 1st the user 2nd, associate the user to the correct Database, 3rd.

Now you have the database name, the user and his password to edit your config file with.

I'm hoping thats what you're missing here.
