    Hi all

Can anyone advise what the requirements are for the internet connection to CPanel to licence the product.

Basically I intend to admin the server through our internal network and only open the firewall where necessary (eg, to CPanel for the licence verification.)

    I anticipate that I'll need a URL/IP and a port number

    Anyone?

    Thanks in advance

You will need an IP number that is a frontend, public IP for licensing purposes.

You will also need to have port 2089 or 80 opened for the outbound connection. 2089 is the default licensing port, but it can fall back to trying port 80 otherwise if port 2089 isn't opened.
