Hello there,
There is a symlink in the public_html folder, which points to a directory on a separate partition. The ownership of all the directories are correct, still after opening the symlink, it doesn't show the content of the folder to which the symlink is pointing. How to make the symlink show the content of the remote directory.

Hey there! If the symlink is working properly and the permissions/ownership are correct, I would expect that to work. Can you let me know what directory the symlink is pointing to so I can try and replicate that behavior on my end? Can you also double-check to ensure the link isn't broken?

I could get the problem. It's cageFS. Since cageFS doesn't allow the user to access anything beyond their home directory, for a user ABC, if you create a file or folder outside /home/ABS, the user won't be able to access that, even if the user is the owner of the particular file/directory. As soon as I disabled the cageFS for the particular user, the user is able to access the directory. Is there a way to make the file/directory accessible for the particular user, if the user is the owner of that particular file/directory, with cageFS enabled?
