Continous pop3 service failure alerts

today we have received more than 30 pop3 service failure and restart alerts. no update nothing has happened, was just fine till yesterday. we are running exim-4.52-15_cpanel_maildir with WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-R76 . can some one help

Hi,

No worries, the issue is not with your EXIM version or service, the issues is with the pop3 server.

Did you try to restart cppop through the scripts?

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/cppop restart
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/cppop-ssl restart

i ran ../scripts/courierup --force

then pop and cpsrvd (which was also failing ) came up fine. i hope it stays that way...

thanks that seem to work for me for now. i'm starting to hate cpanel and there whole mail situation.
