My goal is to limit what shows and what is accessible in cpanel front end.

For example all I want the user to see is the "email" icon and nothing else. I would like to be able to add the other features on an "as need" basis. How do I do this?

I've tried just providing the url link to the specified feature, such as email, but once logged in the user can still click the "home" button at the top and it takes them back to all the icons.

    Please advise.

as mentioned by dalem you can prevent access to a few bits in feature manager but I've found for a lot of things I've had to create custom themes
