Hello everyone,
I've never posted anything here but I need some help, I have a server running CentOS 7.9 and I have to migrate because end of support will be coming next year on June, I was planning on creating a new server with CloudLinux OS and migrate everything but then I bumped into the following URL:
CloudLinux - Converting CentOS server with cPanel - CloudLinux
This resource explains plain and simple how to make the upgrade that will replace CentOS for CloudLinux OS in a matter of minutes, I believe this is great because I don't have to migrate anything, I don't have to change IP addresses on my licenses and also no updating DNS settings for my system domains.
Obviously I've never done this before so my question is, is there ANYTHING that could go wrong with this process that I should be aware of? Does anyone have any advise you can provide to make the upgrade as safe as possible?
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
