Copied Accounts displaying Old Server IP

I copy mulitple accounts from old server to new server. In Home »Account Information »List Accounts, some accounts reflects the new server IP and some account reflects the Old server IP.

My VPS provider adjusted the quota settings already since I was not able do to "chown" using SSH.

Now, I have updated the group:user in /home.

But in WHM - Home »Account Information »List Accounts, it is still showing old server IP on some accounts causing website and emails not to work. When I logged in to Cpanel as Root, Cpanel displays the IP of the new server.

The DNS on all domains are fine, it reflects the new server IP.

How can I fix this?

How did you copy the accounts to the new server? Did you try changing the IP address of account from WHM > Change site ip address.

Modifying the ownership of the home directories should not have any bearing on what IP address is assigned to the account. Also, that is not a required step because the cPanel transfer scripts should have completed that for you. Did you use the supported method of transferring accounts through Web Host Manager? You can change the IP address of an account via:

"WHM Home » Account Functions » Change Site’s IP Address"

Yes,I selected "Copy Multiple Accounts From Another Server" in WHM. While some accounts were copied without any issue, some accounts are still reflecting Old Server IP, and these accounts when checked in /home, are owned by root:root. (I cannot do chown since I still need to contact my VPS provider to enable 2nd level quota.)

I also did "WHM Home » Account Functions » Change Site’s IP Address" but it just says that "This account is already using this IP" (something like that). I checked DNS Zones and all zones are using the New Server IP.

After 2nd level quota was enabled, I terminated all accounts that reflects Old Server IP and deleted its folder in /home, uploaded the backup file and did "Restore a Full Backup" in WHM. This time, it works. The accounts added are now reflecting my New Server IP.
