I have a new customer who has a reseller account on another server. He would like me to copy all his accounts over to our servers.

However, he does not have root access, so i need a method to copy his reseller account and all the sub accounts without the indivdual sub account passwords. Any ideas?

    Thanks

The way i normally do it is to get the user to preform a FULL Backup and move it into his public_html directory then chmod it to 755.

Then via ssh i cd into my /home diretory and fetch the backup using the wget http://www.domain.com/backuplocation command.

Then via WHM restore the account using :

    Backup > Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file

I find this works best for me and i havent had any issues with this method.

Although how it would work with a full resellers would be a bit more lengthy as youd need to get him/her to do a full backup and move each user/client then change the owner of the respective accounts via WHM

Hope this helps in some way.
