    Hi,

this feature doesn't recommend to do this when the account is bigger then 250mb.

I have a account on server a, and want to migrate it to server b. What procedure should i follow to make sure it has minimal downtime?

    Copy account procedure

    Hi,

You should make a tar of the account which is to be transferred to another server and the scp that tar file to the other server. :)

as clumsycool said , you should make a tar of the account using /scripts/pkgacct USER , and then use a secure copy command 'scp' to move the account to the another server :

    scp /home/USER.tar.gz root@Server"B"IP:/home

in server B , restore the account using :

    /scripts/restorepkg USER .
