I have a issue with moving accounts from a reseller account to a dedicated server. I am using copy account with username and password.

I will bold the area that is the issue. It will create the account but not transfer the files. If you need anymore info let me know. I can get it to work on another server but not this one.

    Here is what I get:

You may have to check with the host of the reseller account to have a check on this. It seems that the permission of httpd.conf is an issue. They might have fixed it now since if at all there is an issue with the httpd.conf, then there will be many issues reported to them and they should have fixed it now. You can check it one more time.

I don't think that is the problem. I was able to move it to another server and even got the error message about the httpd.conf.

But I still was not able to move it from the server I did get it to... to the one I wanted it on.

It will create the acocunt but just won't move the files over.

I am not even able to move a site that is owed by me on a server that I have root on via the transferr account with username and password.

I am going to try it with root access to see if that helps.

But that really won't help my client any as he don't have root access to the server his Reseller account is on.

If you do have the root password, and if the transfer function is failing, then you may try it manually using the script pkgacct and copy it to the other server and restore it from WHM or from the shelll using script pkgacct. Anyway if something goes wrong, then you need the root access the trouble shoot. Nothing much can be done without the root password.
