Trying to figure out the best process here...

I have the following:
DNSonly server 1 (ns)
DNSonly server 2 (ns2)

Hosting Server A (will be going away)
- Websites
- local, non-authoritative DNS
- DNS cluster setup to synchronize with NS and NS2

Now, I just got another hosting server B:
- Websites
- local, non-authoritive DNS
- DNS cluster setup to synchronize with NS and NS2

I want to copy accounts from server A to B. What's the best way to handle DNS for the newly copied sites?
Run a manual sync?
Manually change DNS on server B
On server I, do I want to set it so the cluster is write only instead of synchronize?

What would you do?

if the new server is set up to synchronize with your dns cluster you do not have to do anything the DNS records will sync while you are transferring

Hello :)

The transfer process will handle updating the serials in the zone. However, you are welcome to disable clustering on the destination server if you don't want the domain names to resolve to the new server right away.

Thank you.
