Copy all settings in WHM vs complete transfer

I currently have a Cpanel install, with only one account that I have on my VPS. I have finally managed to tweak it so that it works. (I had issues in the past with the server just hanging, apache max children or something) .

I am now considering moving servers, and was wondering if there was an easy way just to copy all settings, or is it better just to do a full live transfer.

Does a live transfer cause downtime. I am using cloudflare pointed to the source VPS and will change to the destination VPS once the transfer is complete .

Hello! The live transfer should not result in any downtime. Also, the following article explains how you can transfer settings.

You can also backup and restore server-side configurations with the cpconftool.
