    Hi,

I had 2 hosting accounts, 1 was a reseller account and the other was a dedicated server.

Well this morning i noticed that the "reseller account" had been turned off by the "data center" as the bloke i was hiring it from had decided not to pay his monthly bill and not tell any of the resellers that he had on it.

Anyway i decided to email the "data center" to try and get a backup of my accounts so that i could install them on my server (dedicated one).

The "data center" was very helpfull and said that i could have backups of all my accounts for a small fee ($10), i thought thats worth it and decided to go ahead with it.

Anyways i now have my accounts downloaded to my computer, and each account is a .tar.gz file, but how on earth do i get the accounts onto my server.

If someone could let me know how i would be very greatfull. :)

You will have to go in to WHM and do "Restore Backup File".

If you don't have WHM with that, ask your host to do it... :p

    Cheers!

is the tar file that you have named as cpmove-username.tar.gz ? In that case you can do the restoration via the WHM. Else you will have to manually untar and place the files at the appropriate location.
