    Hey!

    I have some crazy question... :) :)

How can I copy from Server A the hole cpanel configuration/files etc. with customers to Server B?

I know there is some possibilities with WHM:
    1. Setting up Server B with OS and Cpanel (hole installation & 2 licences etc.)
    2. Copying every account from Server A to Server B

And the next is with an image, but I want to install a new OS on the Server B but use the old cpanel configuration/installation...

I want only the configuration and installation of cpanel with the customers transfered to another Server - and this most smoothly and easily... ;)

Maybe this sounds strange and crazy, but the old server is not longer stable, so I though, there is maybe another and easier solution as install everything from 0, have 2 licences etc. ...

    Greetings... KimBO! :)

Currently, there is a bug in the transfer process of WHM.

For what I know, it is impossible to transfer just "CPanel" accounts. But there is a feature in WHM which can handle this (with bugs, as I told).

But it was a great feature! ;)

All the copy / transfer bugs should now be RESOLVED in EDGE/CURRENT.

Build a new server and use the account transfer feature in whm to copy the accounts over.

    Hi.

But can you assure that no problems with some big accounts wont occur?
I had some problems transfering some accounts with that feature.

    Thank you.

I can't promise it won't timeout. But if it does it probably will be a connection problem between the two servers.

This is nice if you want to transfer accounts... but what about nameservers, httpd, mysql etc etc? I want to clone my cPanel server because the machine it's on is dying. I want the new one to be exactly what the old one was.
