A hard drive failed on one of our drives and there were no recent cpanel/whm backups. Is it possible to copy the /var/cpanel directory from the old damaged drive to the new cpanel install so each domain and its settings will be restored?

    Thanks

The general rule of thumb with cPanel configurations is that it is safe to just copy to another server. However, if you desire a formal in-depth answer regarding this and other things regarding your situation, you may wish to consult one of our technical analysts: http://tickets.cpanel.net/submit
