    My old server won't boot.
But, we can access all of the files from the primary or backup drive.

We've installed a new os and cpanel on the new server. If it uses the same ip do we need do anything with licensing the new server?

If so what is my license info?

After cpanel is licenced (if needed)

what files/folders do I need to copy from the old server to the new to bring over my client data.

    Thanks!

u neednt have a new license; since cpabel is licensed for the ip address.

you will need to create the accounts at the new server and then copy the files at /home/username/* to the new server /home/username/ folder. Copy the entries at the httpd.conf, named.conf, /etc/localdomains .. and still more ..

creating the domain from WHM and then copying the file is suggested.
