What is the correct way to each domain it own greeting? The domain does have its own ip.

How should I modify the DNS record for this?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

i think you need assign reverse dns records for your ip's. something like
    server.com IN PTR 12.14.14.in.addr.arpa
ip address shoud be in reverce order.

I tried what you suggested earlier but that did not work for me as when I tried to do what you said I got an error when adding: mail 14400 IN A "IP of mail server"

because it conflicts with the: mail 14400 IN CNAME domain
