Hi all - I'm very new whit cPanel, i've used Plesk and DirectAdmin earlier but now switch to cPanel because have heard that this is the best one! ;)

Anyways, I have couble n00b questions for starter!

    1. Should customer receive so called welcome email when create new account?
(where he/she can view account details and such)

1.1. If so, where can I edit this file?

1.2. If not, is there possible to do something similar?

    2. Should customers to be able to edit theyr DNS records via cPanel?

    3. When I type my shared IP to browser I get this "Great success! Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server" page.
Where can I change this page content?

Okey... Thanks for all helping me! :)

This would be a functionality of your billing software rather than cPanel itself. However, when you create an account, you can have cPanel/WHM send the reseller or root user a notification that an account has been created.

They should be able to edit their MX entry. All other records need to be modified by a reseller or root user.

cPanel/WHM does not offer this functionality at this time.

    Thanks for answering David!

Okey. Well, we have our custom made "billing system" so you do have API don't you? :)

What comes other answers: That's fine, those were so important anyways! ;)

    Thanks!
