I just finished installing cpanel on my server for the third time, we have formatted the server twice, and tried to search everything on google, i cannot find an answer to what is happening now:

    Code:
    Internal Server Error

Could not fetch uid or gid for : root

    cpsrvd/11.24 Server at 91.198.47.161

I installed cpanel on other servers and never had problems like this before.

Verify user cpanel-phpmyadmin exists by command
    [root@server ~]#grep cpanel-phpmyadmin /etc/passwd

If it doesn’t exist then add user cpanel-phpmyadmin
    useradd cpanel-phpmyadmin -d /var/cpanel/userhomes/cpanel-phpmyadmin

Now, assign appropiate ownership to /var/cpanel/userhomes/cpanel-phpmyadmin
    chown cpanel-phpmyadmin.cpanel-phpmyadmin /var/cpanel/userhomes/cpanel-phpmyadmin -R

Restart mysql and try once again to access phpmyadmin.

    Try accessing this url: http://91.198.47.161:2086/

I read somewhere that root can not access CPanel directly, just WHM.

You have to log in with the cPanel username and password.

The root username and password will not work with cPanel.
