I'm curious, I had an issue earlier today where a subdomain was on 2 separate accounts. Not sure how it happened but obviously it was causing problems. I was trying to setup email accounts on the cpanel account I thought I should be using, but it wasn't working. It would let me add the account but I couldn't login via webmail.

Which leads me to the question, how does webmail determine what account owns a domain when trying to auth and find the password file?
