Courier Issue with Thunderbird

Unable to connect to your IMAP server. You may have exceeded the number of the connections to this server. If so, use the Advanced IMAP Server settings dialog to reduce the number of cached connections.

The above is the error I get when installing Courier and using thunderbird.
Any ideas how to solve it? I doubled the defaults.

Yes, You will have to change the value of "Maximum number of server connections to cache" in your Thunderbird setting,

You can try the instructions from the previous post to see if that helps. Also, you can check /var/log/maillog to see if you notice any specific errors on the server side.
