    Hello, courier server keeps getting stuck and I have no clue on what the problem is.

    There is not DOS attack, also I have forced courier update... but still the failure is happening during the day.

    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:200.31.202.115:49324 ESTABLISHED -
    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:190.24.243.222:35526 ESTABLISHED -
    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:190.144.23.250:50318 ESTABLISHED 14638/pop3d
    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:190.41.152.223:27548 ...

    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:189.217.187.27:49933 ESTABLISHED -
    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:201.243.2.24:63585 ESTABLISHED 15054/pop3d
    tcp 0 0 ::ffff:xx.xx.13.172:110 ::ffff:190.84.241.69:2326 ESTABLISHED -

    Total 145 connections at the moment, on normal conditions there are only 5 - 10 connections.

    Any ideas?

    PD: server load keeps under 2 on normal condition but this problem push it up.

    Please try an lsof on one or more of the processes to see what it is stuck doing:

    Code:
    lsof -p PID#
    Replace PID# with the PID number of the process that is hanging. You can "ps aux | grep courier" to see the Courier processes and their PID numbers.
