Hello,
Presently have several servers running on a SAN volume which does not feature deduplication.
For this reason and also for space, i need to configure CP backups to a separate nfs mount. Otherwise i will fillup this volume.
Just wanting to confirm with someone regarding the CP backup process in such a situation; if for example my CP backup destination is "/nfsbackup" and it's going over the network to my specific storage server for CP backups, does the cPanel backup process write any data elsewhere locally as part of the packaging?
I don't believe it should, but just wanting to confirm as otherwise I will need to comeup with a script or other method.
Thanks!
