cp move error - 3 sites work 1 doesn't

    Hi all,

    I moved 4 sites from one box to another and 3 out of the 4 work perfectly but the 4th is giving me a database error.

    Anyone know what would cause this? The 3 sites that do work are also using database's



    Database Error Database error
    The database has encountered a problem.
    Please try the following:

    * Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
    * Open the xxxxxx.com home page, then try to open another page.
    * Click the Back button to try another link.

    The xxxxx.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

    So we know it's a forum, have you checked the configuration file for that forum to see if the details are setup correctly?

    I moved about 150 forums from one server/datacenter to another about 2 weeks ago. I had errors on 2 of them. I checked and the MySQL database didn't get transferred completely for some reason.. missing tables. One was blank, the other had about 12 out of 33.

    I had to manually backup and restore as root with ssh. Everything else worked after that.

    There are so many things that can happen during a transfer I considered myself lucky! I hope you still have the original server up and at least have the backups off that account.
