When we go into any control panel account as a normal user, under the section where it displays the number of MySQL databases, and FTP accounts used, the following error is displayed:

sh: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqladmin: No such file or
directory CP-Wrap Critcal Error (signal 13 from wrapped
program)! This may indicate a corrupt admin binary in
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/

    If the above error is not displayed, then the next one is;

FTP Accounts sh: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ftpadmin: Permission denied
    0
    MySQL Databases sh: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqladmin: Permission
    denied

Anyone see anything like this before? I have verified the permissions & binary sizes to those that are confirmed working on another server.

I cannot seem to find any inconsistencies other than the user calling /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqladmin is the user I am logged in under in the control panel. On servers where this is confirmed working, that binary is being called by root in the control panel.

I checked the MD5sum on cpaneld, and cpwrap.... I just cant find out whats causing this problem!

Any help, or suggestions are greatly appreciated. :)

What version you running? If it's the latest stable/edge/bleeding (which ever one you use) then try running layer2 again. If your not running the latest try running a /scripts/upcp

    CP-Wrap Ciritical Error using Hostonic.com

I am using Hostonic.com and cannot get a hold of my host - I am also getting that CP-Wrap Critical Error (signal 13...

I have access to the web host manager, and each account can get to its cpanel, but I cannot use domain.com/cpanel, I have to log in with the ip address.

When I terminate an account and set it up again, I can finally add email forwarding, but I still cannot do anything with subdomains or MySQL.

I don't have access to any shell now because of this forwarding problem, so I cannot restart any control panel services or reboot the server (if that is all that is required to fix this).

Has anyone else had a problem with Hostonic? This problem seems to have started December 12th, and is still unresolved as of December 21st.

I am now having this problem as well on my server.

But, I am only having this for MySQL and it's using of phpMyAdmin to display it's data, as well as on the main page of CPanels on the server, where the mysql database count should be.(the cpwrap critical error listed by the beginner of this thread).

Could someone please comment on it. I have tried changing the password to mysql jsut about everyway under the sun.

I have done reboots, done upcp, I have run updates for apache, and tried to graceful and forced reboots of my server.

This is the only area I am having problems with.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hello...

A little update, I now can no longer create databases within phpMyAdmin, nor users within it either. Could I simply backup the mysqlwrap file and delete the original, then run upcp? If it doesn't work, put the file back?

    Anyhelp is greatly appreciated.

BTW, I have put in a ticket and someone is looking into it.

    Thanks,
    Jim

I am now getting this when I ran a update tonight.
update seems to get hanging on:

    syncing web based 3rdparty programs

It will just sit there and nothing else happens.

All Cpanels display this under MySQL Databases:

There was an error setting uids. Please have the admin check permissions on: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/mysqlwrap CP-Wrap Critcal Error (signal 13 from wrapped program)! This may indicate a corrupt admin binary in /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ / 100

Anyone have any clues or suggestions? Running WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-R72

    Thanks!

    Try this

    chmod u+rws /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cpwrap
    /scripts/upcp --force

if you have apf try to put it off while updating
