Hi all,

in my cPAddon scripts library I have following scripts checked:

B2Evolution
YaBB
phpBB
phpMyChat
Coppermine
Advanced Guestbook

Now, when a client try to install one of these scripts (advanced guestbook or phpBB) via his control panel, it doens' work. When they fill in the necesary things such as username and password en directory and then they hit "install", nothing happens or they get a "The page cannot be displayed"

This is with ALL scripts. I already did an update and checked "Force Refresh of All cPAddon Sources ", but no solution.

I chekced the http error log, but nothing in it. I also turned off mod_security, but no solutions.

I have CentOS 4.3 on my servers with the latest stable version of Cpanel: WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-S120

What could be the problem ? Or where do I have to look to solve this ?

Please, all help would be appreciated, because none of my clients can install scripts at this moment.....

Thank you !

Are you using IE?

If any of mine try to install using IE then nothing will install, even upgraded to 10.8.2 r119.

If they use firefox they will install but with phpbb they get this message
Code:
Please ensure both the install/ and contrib/ directories are deleted
Are the problems for IE going to be sorted out since i cant expect clients to use firefox if they do not.

Also is there a fix for the firefox/phpBB issue.

So everyone with the latest stable install of Cpanel and the CpAddons is suffering this problem ? Then why do I get so less response and can't I find any other threads regarding this problem ? Strange....

My clients are waiting for a quick solutions and I can't help them... I tried everything I know.

So please, is there anyone else with the same problem who found a fix ?

Thanks !

In cPAddon Scripts Installer/Updater

Uncheck: Force Refresh of All cPAddon Sources if checked and try again

good luck. I was having similar issues and that seemed to have cleared it up.

They will install in firefox without a problem apart from things like the phpBB where when you go to the board it asks you to delete the install and contrb directories.

But i cant ask clients to install firefox if they dont use it just to install scripts.
